Legal information
Privacy and cookies
We handle the data you entrust to us responsibly. This page explains what we receive when you send us an enquiry or request a free audit, what we use it for and what rights you have.
This website uses analytics cookies only if you agree in the cookie banner. Until you agree, no such cookies are set.
Who we are and how to reach us
ScaleLab is a digital marketing agency for businesses. Here we explain how we handle the data you send us through the forms on this site.
If you have a question about your personal data, email us at [email protected] or call us on +359 897 911 251.
What data the forms collect
There are three forms on the site. The form on the Contact page requires your name, email address and message, and optionally takes your phone number. The form on the Enquiry page requires your name, email address and message, and optionally takes your phone number, company, the service and industry you are interested in, and an indicative budget. The free audit request form requires your name, email address and website address, and optionally takes your company, a short description of your business and your phone number.
The required fields are needed for us to understand your enquiry and reply to it. Without them, the form cannot be sent.
Please do not include sensitive personal information about yourself or other people in your message, for example about health or financial circumstances.
When you open pages on the site or send a form, the hosting provider processes technical connection data, such as your IP address and browser type, in order to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse.
What we use the data for
We use the data from the forms to reply to your enquiry, prepare the audit you requested and arrange an online meeting with you. If after the meeting you would like a written proposal, we use the same data to send it to you.
The legal basis on which we process the data depends on what you write to us about. When you request a free audit or ask about one of our services, we process the data to take steps at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation).
When you ask a general question that is not about a service, we process the data on the basis of the legitimate interest of ScaleLab in replying to the people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f) of the same Regulation). The technical connection data is processed on the same basis, so that the site works and is protected from abuse. You can object to processing on this basis, as described below.
Analytics cookies are stored in your browser only if you agree in the cookie banner. The basis for them is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the same Regulation). The consent in the banner covers cookies only, and you can change it at any time, as described below.
We do not ask for your consent as a condition for sending the form, which is why the forms have no tick box.
Who processes the data
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. All three forms on the site send their data to Jotform, an online form service that stores the message and passes it on to ScaleLab. Both providers process the data so that the site works and your message reaches us.
If you allow the analytics cookies, the data about your visit is processed by Google Ireland Limited, the provider of Google Analytics. Google processes this data as a processor on our instructions and under its own terms. Part of the processing may take place outside the European Union. In those cases Google applies its own safeguards for the data. You can read more in Google's privacy policy.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising audiences at this time.
Your rights and how to file a complaint
In the cases provided for by law, you have the right to request access to the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to that processing, and to receive it in a portable format so that you can pass it to another organisation.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] and describe your request.
If you believe your data is being processed in breach of the law, you can file a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection: 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., Sofia 1592, website: cpdp.bg.
Cookies and data stored in your browser
The site loads Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager only after you agree in the cookie banner. Until you agree, no analytics cookies are set and no data about your visit is sent. If you refuse, the banner is not shown again and nothing is loaded.
When you allow analytics, Google Analytics collects the pages you view, your approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, where your visit came from, and actions such as sending a form. We use this data to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not store IP addresses, and Google Analytics processes them to work out the approximate location.
If you change your mind, a link in the footer of every page reopens the cookie choice. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Visitor statistics also come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, a tool from the provider that hosts the site. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not recognise individual visitors across different sites. No consent is needed for it, and it keeps working if you refuse the analytics cookies.
The forms set no cookies and store no data in your browser.
The hosting provider may add technical features that are needed to deliver the pages and protect the site. Examples are the protection of the email addresses on the site from automated harvesting programs, and the technical error report that your browser sends to the provider when a page fails to load. These features are not used for visitor analytics or advertising.
Changes to this page
We update this page when we change the forms, the providers that process data, or the way the site uses cookies. The date of the last change is shown on the page.
